Autism Bedfordshire text/call helpline services
As you may know, Autism Bedfordshire are a charity who run a helpline service. This is available 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and have now also been extended on Tuesdays and Thursdays to 8.30pm in addition to a text helpline service on the same days 6.00pm - 8.00pm.
For Adult Services, call 01234 214 871 (press option 2) for information, advice and guidance on:
- all aspects of Autism Spectrum conditions and associated problems
- how services are affected by the Coronavirus
- social distancing and self isolation
- handwashing and staying safe
- other issues
(9.00am - 5.00pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday / 9.00am - 8.30pm Tuesday, Thursday)
For Children's Services, there is a text helpline service on 07710 806 941. To support families during the COVID-19 situation. Autism Bedsfordshire are providing an out of hours texting service to try and offer advice, support and guidance.
